NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk) is a public radio and television broadcaster based in Hamburg, Germany. Among other things NDR does ticket sales for music concerts and other events. I was lucky enough to get the chance to work on redesigning their website to be responsive and give it a bit of a fresh feel.
Since NDR does several types of events, it was a requirement to create several sub-environments for the website where the users could browse the events by content type.
The top priority of the website was to promote the soon-to-be-finished Elbphilharmonie building in Hamburg right at the shore of the river Elbe. It was also important to emphasize classical music, jazz.
This was the first time I planned and created a purchase checkout process, so it was a challenge, especially because there were special conditions such as discount codes, customer card owner specials, delivery options and several payment options to mention a few.
